Explore the nearby museum, which houses a remarkable collection of medieval weaponry, regimental flags, and armor. Continue to Fort St. George, built in 1644, now serving as the administrative center for the Tamil Nadu government. Drive along the picturesque Marina Beach, lined with elegant buildings, and end your tour with a visit to the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, the most significant Shiva temple in Chennai.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Mahabalipuram, with an en route stop at Kanchipuram, the ancient city of a thousand temples and former capital of the Pallava dynasty. The city showcases centuries of Hindu temple architecture. Continue to Mahabalipuram, once a thriving seaport during the Pallava era. Check in to your resort upon arrival.
In the afternoon, explore Mahabalipuram’s rock-cut cave temples, especially the Krishna Mandapam and the famous Five Rathas, showcasing Pallava artistry. Conclude with a visit to the iconic Shore Temple on the coast.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Madurai, stopping en route at Trichy (Tiruchirappalli). Climb the Rock Fort Temple, with its 437 steps leading to the Vinayaka Temple offering panoramic views. Visit the Tayumanaswamy Temple, and then continue to Srirangam, home to the majestic Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple with its 21 gopurams.
