Day 01 :
Arrive Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong (~100 km / ~3 hrs)

- Continue to Shillong and check in at your hotel.
- In the evening, stroll through Police Bazaar and MG Marg—the heart of the city—where you can browse artisanal crafts and sample local cuisine.

Day 02 :
Full-Day Excursion to Cherrapunjee / Sohra (~60 km / ~2 hrs each way)
- After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth, known for its vibrant landscapes and dense mist.
- First stop at the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls, India’s tallest plunge waterfall at over 1,100 ft, dropping into a deep gorge.
- Explore Mawsmai Cave, a limestone cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites.
- Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant offering Khasi specialties.
- On the return leg, visit Elephant Falls, where water cascades beside an elephant-shaped rock formation, and Shillong Peak, the highest point in the region (~6,449 ft), offering sweeping views of Shillong.
- Head back to Shillong for a restful overnight.
Day 03 :
Local Sightseeing in Shillong& Drive to Kaziranga (~295 km / ~7 hrs)
- Following breakfast, explore Don Bosco Museum, one of Northeast India’s largest museums offering insight into regional heritage.
- Stroll around Ward’s Lake, bordered by lush gardens and ideal for boating or relaxation.
- After lunch, begin your journey through winding roads dotted with tea gardens and traditional Assamese villages en route to Kaziranga National Park.
- Check into your wildlife lodge in the evening. If available, enjoy a traditional Bihu dance performance.
- Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 04 :
Wildlife Safari at Kaziranga National Park
- Rise early for an elephant-back safari in the Western Range, offering close encounters with Indian one-horned rhinoceros grazing in misty grasslands. Keep an eye out for deer, swamp buffalo, hog deer, and perhaps even a tiger.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and some downtime.
- After lunch, venture out on a jeep safari in the Central Range, traversing diverse terrain—dense forests, marshes, and open meadows ideal for spotting native birds like the Great Indian Hornbill, Crested Serpent Eagle, and Bar‑headed Goose.

Day 05 :
Kaziranga to Guwahati (~220 km / ~5 hrs)
- After a leisurely breakfast, check out and depart for Guwahati, the bustling gateway to Northeast India.
- En route, visit tea gardens and see tea processing in action, with opportunities to sample or purchase fresh Assam tea.
- On arrival in Guwahati, check into your hotel.
- For a relaxing evening, opt for a sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra River, featuring live music and golden hour views.
- Explore Fancy Bazaar, known for Assamese silk, handicrafts, and street food.

Day 06 :
Guwahati City Tour
